Въпреки че книгите на библиотечните рафтове обикновено са сортирани по име на автор или тема, библиотекарите забелязват, че читателите много често се ръководят от емоции и препоръки, когато избират книги. Тази концепция поставя на първо място преживяването на читателя и емоциите, предизвикани от книгата.

Дейностите по проекта „Колелото на емоциите“ популяризират идеята, че чрез четене на подходящи книги децата, поставяйки емоциите в основата на преживяването, могат по-леко и бързо да разрешават възникнали проблеми и да се насладят на удоволствието от четенето.

Специфичните цели са свързани с:

• оформяне в библиотеката на рафт „Колелото на емоциите“ (инсталация от книги, в която книгите са представени според емоциите, които предизвикват, с шест сектора: любов, радост, изненада, тъга, гняв и страх) с въртящо се колело за избор;
• създаване на методология за приказкотерапия и изграждане на екип от консултанти, оказващи подкрепа на деца с техники на приказкотерапията;
• интегриране на словото и текста с други форми на изкуството за насърчаване на четенето, поставяйки емоциите в основата на преживяването;
• създаване и развитие на вече съществуващи партньорски връзки;
• утвърждаване авторитета на библиотеката като общностен център, пряко ангажиран със значими проблеми.

В проекта се надгражда предходен опит на Регионална библиотека „Захарий Княжески“, свързан с провеждане на обучения на консултанти по библиотерапия и предлагане на услугата. Вниманието се фокусира върху формиране на компетентност за работа на библиотекарите като консултанти по приказкотерапия и водене на групови срещи по приказкотерапия. В тях процесът е свързан с четене, съчиняване, разказване или слушане и осмисляне на истории с подкрепата на консултант.

В осмислянето на словото чрез преживяването на емоциите, се намесват и други форми на изкуството – рисуване, театър, музика. Освен популярни сред децата автори и художници, в проектните събития се включват и нови, интересни и различни млади артисти.

Планираните дейности по проекта привличат утвърдени партньори на библиотеката, както и нови такива: Фондация „Институт за съвременна психология“ (ИСП), поетесата, драматург и преводач Мария Донева, художникът Дилян Бакалски,  Държавен куклен театър – Стара Загора, ДГ № 10 „Светлина“, ДГ № 29 „Славейче“, ДГ № 58  „Звездица“, НУ „Димитър Благоев“, ОУ „Георги Райчев“, СУ „Васил Левски“, Театрална студия „Игра“, Ателие за изящно и приложно изкуство „Витроартис“, Фондация „Етносвят България“, Сдружение „Библиофония“.

Emotions by the time of reading have the power to develop us

The project „Circle of Emotions” aim is the reading experience, which makes a positive influence in children’s lives by helping them develop emotional intelligence. The accent is on the emotions joy, surprise, sadness, anger and fear. Love is included as sixth emotion, because it plays a significant role in lot of books. In this way, choosing the right for this particular moment book, is easy for the reader. By the means of training, is created a methodology for working and built a team of consultant-librarians, who will support the kids through the techniques of story-therapy. Actors, painters, writers and musicians are taking part in understanding the words through one’s own emotions.

For the project

Though the books on the library shelves are sorted by author name and theme, the librarians mention that the readers often choose books led by emotions or reference. This concept puts on the first place the readers’ experience and emotions provoked by the book.

The activities of the project „Circle of Emotions” popularize the idea that reading the appropriate books, which place the emotions in the basis of experience, will help the kids easier and faster solve problems and enjoy reading.

Specific aims of the project:

• Forming a shelf „Circle of Emotions” in the library (installation with books, where the books are sorted by the emotions, which they urge, including six sectors: love, joy, surprise, sadness, anger and fear) with rolling circle to make a choice;
• Creating a methodology for using story-therapy and building a team of consultants, which can help the kids with the techniques of story-therapy;
• Integrating the words and text through other forms of art in order to encourage reading, putting the emotions in the basis of experience;
• Creating and developing of already existing partnerships;
• Approving the image of the library as community center, engaged with significant problems.

In this project Zahariy Knyazheski Regional Library improves previous experience, connected with maintaining bibliotherapy consultants’ training and offering the service. The focus now is on forming of librarians’ competency to work as story-therapy consultants and leading of group meetings. The process during the meetings is connected with reading, creating, narrating or listening and comprehending of stories with the support of consultant.

By comprehension, the words through feeling emotions, are included other forms of art – painting, theater, music. Except popular among children authors and painters, in the project activities are included new, interesting and different young artists.

By the time of planned activities are included former partners of the library, as well as new ones: Foundation „Current psychology institute”; the poet, drama-writer and translator Maria Doneva; the painter Dilyan Bakalski; State Puppet Theatre – Stara Zagora; different kindergartens and primary and secondary schools, as well as various artists and foundations.
